Description:
Cork is an impermeable, buoyant and flexible material that is sustainably produced and easily recycled. The design on this poster was burned into the cork using a vinyl stencil and a flame torch to allow the texture of the cork to show through.
Cost:
Cork is around $40 for a 4’ x 6’ roll, stencil about $25 to have made commercially, or you can hand-cut a stencil from a piece of contact paper (about 50c).
