Description:
Making your own ink is easy: this one uses coffee grounds combined with cornstarch/glycerine polymer. Minerals or plant parts like chillies can provide other colors. Mix and screenprint onto the surface; in this case a salvaged Vivace coffee sack.
Cost:
$15 for cornstarch/glycerine polymer. Free used bags and coffee grounds from Vivace Coffee, Seattle. A home screenprinting kit will run you about $35.
