Birch veneer, printed honey, airborne particulates
Honey can be used as a printer ‘ink’ but be warned, it will never dry. This piece is designed to accumulate airborne particulates in the sticky honey and thus gradually change in appearance over time.
Birch ply: $10 for a 3' x 5' sheet, honey $4. Stencil was made from contact paper and used with an old squeegee (about $12).
